Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
There is already a correct tab of this song but the chords for the chorus and
the missing lyrics make it a bit inconvenient for just playing along with
guitar, I think. So here's just the normal chords with all the lyrics for
 simple guitar playalong.

[Verse]
D G D
Come my love, I'll tell you a tale,
D A7 D
Of a boy and girl, and their Love Story.
D G D
And how he loved her, oh so much,
D A7 D
And all the charms she did possess.

D G D
Now this did happen once upon a time,
D A7 D
When things were not so complex.
D G D
And how he worshipped the ground she walked,
D A7 D
And when he looked in her eyes, he became obsessed.

[Chorus]
G C G
My love is like a storybook story,
G D G
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.
G C G
My love is like a storybook story,
D A D
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.
D A D
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.

[Verse]
D G D
This love was stronger than the powers so dark
D A7 D
A prince could have within his keeping
D G D
His spells to weave and steal a heart
D A7 D
Within her breast but only sleeping

[Chorus]
G C G
My love is like a storybook story,
G D G
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.
G C G
My love is like a storybook story,
D A D
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.
D A D
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.

[Bridge]
          D G D
He said, "Don't you know I love you oh so much
D A7 D
And lay my heart at the foot of your dress?"
           D G D
She said, "Don't you know that storybook loves
D A7 D
Always have a happy ending?"
D G D
Then he swooped her up just like in the books
D A7 D
And on his stallion they rode away

[Chorus]
G C G
My love is like a storybook story,
G D G
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.
G C G
My love is like a storybook story,
D A D
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.
D A D
But it's as real as the feelings I feel.

It should be mentioned that this song was written and performed by the late great Willie Deville and NOT Mark Knopfler. Knopfler arranged the song for the Princess Bride soundtrack, but Deville wrote the lyrics and the music and performed the song on the album. Credit where credit is due.
