About this tab version
Couple of different versions out there. Just a little tweak to the one I liked best... Changed the A to an Amaj7 for a little more character, and I think it's closer to the actual song. Been playing everyone else's tabs for years. Happy to finally contribute my first post. Was this info helpful? Yes No

[Intro]

Bm7 E A
Bm7 E A

[Verse 1]

Bm7 E Amaj7
   Sunday morning rain is falling
Bm7 E Amaj7
Steal some covers share some skin
Bm7 E Amaj7
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
       Bm7 E Amaj7
You twist to fit the mold that I am in
        Bm7 E Amaj7
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
               Bm7 E Amaj7
And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew
        Bm7 E Amaj7
That someday it would lead me back to you
        Bm7 E Amaj7
That someday it would lead me back to you

[Chorus]

            Bm7 E Amaj7
That may be all I need
                   Bm7 E Amaj7
In darkness she is all I see
                   Bm7 E Amaj7
Come and rest your bones with me
                       Bm7
Driving slow on Sunday morning
       E Amaj7
And I never want to leave

[Verse 2]

Bm7 E Amaj7
Fingers trace your every outline. Ah yeah yeah yeah
Bm7 E Amaj7
Paint a picture with my hands
Bm7 E Amaj7
Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm
              Bm7 E Amaj7
Change the weather still together when it ends

[Chorus]

            Bm7 E Amaj7
That may be all I need
                   Bm7 E Amaj7
In darkness she is all I see
                   Bm7 E Amaj7
Come and rest your bones with me
                       Bm7
Driving slow on Sunday morning
      E Amaj7
And I never want to leave

[Bridge]

     Bm7 E Amaj7
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
            Bm7 E Amaj7
And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew
     Bm7 E Amaj7
That someday it would lead me back to you
     Bm7 E Amaj7
That someday it would lead me back to you

[Chorus]

            Bm7 E Amaj7
That may be all I need
                   Bm7 E Amaj7
In darkness she is all I see
                   Bm7 E Amaj7
Come and rest your bones with me
                       Bm7
Driving slow on Sunday morning
      E Amaj7
And I never want to leave

It sounds nice and compliments the character of switching the A to an Amaj7 if you play the Bm7 as a barre chord or even as a B7sus2 (diagram below):

B7sus2: EADGBE: 020220

I love this version though. Great for a soft acoustic version!
