Its definitely close, but he plays an Dsus2/F# in the verse instead of the A you have. You can tell because there is a distinctive F# to G. Also he plays an A/C# as the 2nd chord in the chorus, and you can also tell this becuase of the D, C#, B, walk down he uses in his progression. Your way is a ton easier to play though and sounds basically the same, but for people who like particulars I've seen him play it like this. Great chord overall

also your missing the last verse of the lyrics

As ridgesmidge pointed out, you're missing the last verse, the chorus proceeding it, and the chorus following it. Otherwise, it's pretty good. It sounds pretty much the same, and it's really easy to play. Nice tab on the part of the song you've got here.
