This isn't exactly what Rob does on the live acoustic version but I
think its a more elegant arrangement and it works better

TIME AFTER TIME/ Cyndi Lauper

Csus2 Dsus4 Em7 Bm7 G C
XCEGDG XXDADG EBDGDE XBDADF# GBDGDG XCEGCG

Intro:
C D Bm7 Csus2 C Dsus4 D Em Em7
C Dsus4 D Bm7 C
Csus2 Dsus4 D G 2x

Csus2 G Csus2 G Csus2 G Dsus4 G
Ly ing in my bed I hear the clock tick and think of you
Caught up in circles confusion is nothing new

C D Bm7 Csus2 C Dsus4 D Em Em7
Flashback warm nights almost left behind

C D Bm C Csus2 Dsus4 D
Suitcases of memories time after

Csus2 G Csus2 G Csus2 G Dsus4 G
Sometimes you picture me I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me, I can't hear what you've said

      C D Bm7 Csus2 C Dsus4 D Em Em7
Then you say go slow I fall behind

C Dsus4 D Bm C
The second hand unwinds

          D Em Em7
If you're lost you can look and you will find me

Csus2 Dsus4 G
Time after time
          D Em Em7
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting

Csus2 Dsus4 G
Time after time

After my picture fades and darkness has turned to gray
Watching through windows you're wondering if I'm OK
Secrets stolen from deep inside
The drum beats out of time

[chorus]

You said go slow, I fall behind
The second hand unwinds

[chorus]

Time after time
Time after time

If you mean you don't get what chords he's talking about, for some reason he's tabbed the notes of the chords rather than the actual fingerings... Here're the fingers of the chords he's written

Csus2 [x32033]
Dsus4 [xx0233]
Em7 [020030]
Bm7 [x20232]
G [320033]
C [x32013]

If that helps...
