Lake of Fire
by The Meat Puppets
Tabbed by KD

I use power chords, but I think you can just play the whole minor chord instead (so
instead of F# power chord you could do F#m), although I'm not entirely sure about that.
This is tabbed from a live version

chorus:
F# E A
Where do bad folks go when they die
     F# B A
They don't go to heaven where the angels fly
     F# E A
They go to the lake of fire and fry
      B E F#
Won't see 'em again 'til the fourth of July

F# - E F#
F - F# F#

    C#m A
Now I knew a lady who came from Duluth
        C#m G#
She got bit by a dog with a rabid tooth
    C#m A
She went to her grave just a little too soon
    B C#m
and flew away howlin' on a yellow moon

-chorus-

    C#m A
Now people howl and people moan
    C#m G#
and look for a dry place to call their own
    C#M A
and try to find somewhere to rest their bones
        B C#m
for the angels and the devil fight to make 'em their own

-repeat chorus-

im 80% sure they only did a live version of this song, as it is a cover from the meat puppets. The only official recording as far as i know is the one off mtv live album.

...it's on Meat Puppets II, it's tuned up half a step and there is no solo in the original.
