[intro]
E C G E7 E G C E7
            (hold E7)

[verse]
E C G
Miss Maggie was way too young to understand
             E7 E
Why she got thrown into someone else's hands
              C G E7
Why she woke up to strange men
E C G
They tore her to pieces and she couldn't comprehend
             E7 E
Why she was locked up in a basement filled with men
                   C G E7
Should've gone to school instead she did them

[bridge]
E
 Don't touch me
C
 I'm fragile
G E7
 I'm bitter in my heart
E
 Momma sold me
C
 For candy
G E7
And I was ruined from the start

[chorus]
 E C
Why'd you have to sell me to those mean old men
      G E7
They cut me up in places I don't even understand
      E C
It's normalcy to me but how will my friends understand
     G
 I'm five years old
 E7 E C G E7
 Sleeping with a million men
           E C G E7
 A million men

[verse]
E C G
All grown up and her body has decayed
              E7 E
All those promiscuous games she had to play
     C G E7
Ohh, She skipped the jungle, jungle gym phase
E C G
She's trying to look at things in a bright way
              E7 E
Sees a light peeking at the end of the hallway
    C G E7
No, she's trying, trying to escape

[bridge]
E
 I'm running
C
 Full force, dear
G E7
But it's hard when you're bone
E
 I'm weak-kneed
C
 But I'm flying
G E7
 Out of this hell hole

[chorus]
E C
Why'd you have to sell me to those mean old men
      G E7
They cut me up in places I don't even understand
      E C
It's normalcy to me but how will my friends understand
     G
 I'm ten years old
 E7 E C G E7
 Running from a million men
           E C G E7
 A million men

[verse]
Am E
Finally the light is coming close
Am E
No turning back run full force
Am E
Angels swoop down and grab me

 And now I'm safe away
                         E7
From the million men who raised me

[chorus]
E C
Why'd you have to sell me to those mean old men
      G E7
They cut me up in places I don't even understand
      E C
It's normalcy to me how will my boyfriend understand
     G
 I'm seventeen
        E7
 With a history of
           E C G E7
 A million men
           E C G E7
 A million men
   E C
A million men a million men
   G E7
 A million a million men
   E C
A million men a million men
   G E7
 A million a million men
           E C G E7
 A million men

Great tab! Only correction is for the E7 chord, I believe Melanie plays something more like (021200).
