My own take on such an awesome classic song, with quite the Aussie flair pumped in it to begin with. It's always
been such a fun song to play, whether it be to sing, do lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums...
This is my go-to song for when I feel down or feel not myself. Hope it still has the same effect

Intro: G|---------------------------------|
       D|---------------------------------| X2
       A|---------------------------------|
       E|-7-77777-5-55555-7-77777-333-555-|

Verse: G|---------------------------------|
       D|---------------------------------| X4
       A|---------------------------------|
       E|-7-077-0-5-055-0-3-033-0-3-3-5-5-|

          Traveling in a fried-out Kombi

On a hippie trail, head full of zombie

I met a strange lady, she made me nervous.

Then she took me in and gave me breakfast. And she said:

Chorus: G|---------------------------------|
        D|---------------------------------| X4
        A|-5-5-5-5-------------------------|
        E|---------5-5-5-5-7-7-7-7-3-3-5-5-|

"Do you come from a land down under?

Where women glow and men plunder?

Can't you hear? Can't you hear the thunder?

Well, you better run or you better take cover"

Pre-Verse: G|---------------------------------|
           D|---------------------------------| X2
           A|---------------------------------|
           E|-7-77777-5-55555-7-77777-333-555-|

Verse: G|---------------------------------|

       A|---------------------------------|
       E|-7-077-0-5-055-0-3-033-0-3-3-5-5-|

Buying bread from a man in Brussels.

He was six-foot-four and full of muscles.

I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"

And he just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich. And he said:

Chorus: G|---------------------------------|
        D|---------------------------------| X4
        A|-5-5-5-5-------------------------|
        E|---------5-5-5-5-7-7-7-7-3-3-5-5-|

'I come from a land down under.

Where beer does flow and men chunder.

Can't you hear? Can't you hear the thunder?

You better run and you better take cover. Yeah'

Solo: G|---------------------------------|
      D|---------------------------------| X4
      A|---------------------------------|
      E|-7-77777-5-55555-7-77777-333-555-|

      G|---------------------------------|

       D|---------------------------------| X4
       A|---------------------------------|
       E|-7-077-0-5-055-0-3-033-0-3-3-5-5-|

Lyin' in a den in Bombay.

With a slack jaw, and not much to say.

I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me?!?

Because I come from the land of plenty?" And he said!:

Chorus/Outro: G|----------------------------------|
              D|----------------------------------| (Repeat until fade)
              A|-50505050-------------------------|
              E|---------505050507070707030305050-|

'Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)

Where women glow and men plunder?

Can't you hear? Can't you hear the thunder? (yeah!)

You better run. You'd better take cover'

Living in a land down under.

Where women glow and men plunder.

Can't you hear? Can't you hear the thunder?

Hell, you better run. Hell, you better take cover!...
