RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER

Intro:
         F Em Dm C
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
F Em Dm C
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
Am Dm
But do you recall
         D7 G7
The most famous reindeer of all?

Verse 1:
C
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
                 G
Had a very shiny nose
G
And if you ever saw it
                      C
You would even say it glows
C
All of the other reindeer
                           G
Used to laugh and call him names
G
They never let poor Rudolph
                     C
Join in any reindeer games

Bridge:
F C
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
F C
Santa came to say:
G
"Rudolph with your nose so bright
D7 G7
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
C
Then how the reindeer loved him.
                         G
As they shouted out with glee:
G
"Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
                  C
You'll go down in history"

Verse 2:
C
Rudolph has got his red nose
                        G
in the Reindeer Hall of Fame.
G
Rudolph the red nosed-baby
                       C
of the little reindeer days!

Rudolph the North-Pole big-shot
                        G
rides around in Santa's sleigh,
G
Wearing a green fedora -
                     C
smokin' a cigar all day!

Bridge:
F C
'Cos one foggy Christmas Eve
F C
Santa came to say:
G
"Rudolph with your nose so bright
D7 G7
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
C
Then how the reindeer loved him.
                         G
As they shouted out with glee:
G
"Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
                  C
You'll go down in history"

Verse 3 (shorter):
C
This story has a moral
                   G
anyone can plainly see:
G
Just keep your red nose a-gleamin'
                             C
(and) You'll go down in history

Outtro:
       F Em Dm C
If you keep your nose a red, red rose
       F Em Dm C
If you keep your beak all pink and sleek
           F Em Dm C
and if you keep your snoz maroon because
G C
You'll go down in his--- to--- ry

Leave out those extra verses and you've got a good version here.

Don't forget, baldy, you can leave them out, too...

Right, that's what I meant. I leave them out and the song is perfect. If you're so inclined keep them in. Didn't mean to sound like you (the contributor) should have omitted them, sorry about the confusion. :-)
