LOVE IS AN OPEN DOOR - Frozen
Tabbed by: thatasian

Tuning: Standard

Ive tabbed the intro and the verse, but I have the lyrics and chords at the bottom, so
you can do whatever you like.

If you prefer reading chords, I highly suggest checking out the tab to the verse instead.
Its a lot easier than the actual chords and its more correct.

Enjoy! This is my first tab. :)

Intro/Main Riff
This is how it sounds, but its a bit hard to play.
If youre doing a duet, perhaps have one person on bass guitar (or regular guitar) play
the bass line, and then a guitarist play the chords.

On the off-beats.
G|--2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2---2-| x2

For the rest of the song, I just use chords.
However, when the song modulates to E, I like to put a capo on 2 and play everything there.

        D F#m G A
All my life has been a series of doors in my face
         D F#m G A
And then suddenly I bump into you

I was thinking the same thing! Cause like
D F#m G A
Ive been searching my whole life to find my own place
          D F#m G A
And maybe it's the party talking or the chocolate fondue

Bm D
But with you I found my place
But with you I see your face

         E G7
And its nothing like I've ever known before

                D F#m G G7
Love is an open door
                D F#m G G7
Love is an open door

Love is an open door
    F#m G G7
With you With you
     With you With you

(Back to Main Riff, or) D F#m G A x2
       Love is an open door

Modulation to E:
For the rest of the song, Capo 2 and play the chords as before

Or, no capo chords:
            E G#m A B
I mean its crazy, we finish each others sandwiches
           E G#m A B
I've never met someone who thinks so much like me
    E G#m A B
Our mental synchronization can have but one explanation
E G#m A B
You Were Meant to be
  And I Just

     C#m E
Say goodbye To the pain of the past
       Say goodbye
F# A7
We dont have to feel it any more

                E G#m A A7
Love is an open door
                E G#m A A7
Love is an open door

Life can be so much more
    G#m A A7
With you With you
     With you With you

                E G#m A B x2 E
Love is an open door

This all looks pretty close, but here are a few things I notice:
The F#m is usually a D/F#, so the verses look like this (notice that the G becomes an Em the second time through the progression as well):
D, D/F#, G, A
D, D/F#, Em, A
The pre-chorus looks right to me, except that the D definitely has a 7th on it when the girl sings "face" in the line: "I see your face..."
I think the chorus chords are D, D/F#, G7, G throughout (up a whole step in the second verse: E, E/G#, A7, A.)
First time using this site, so I'm not sure if there's an easier way to make changes:/
