Smile A Little Smile For Me – Flying Machine

Verse 1:
C F
You really should accept This time he's gone for good
C F
He'll never come back now Even though he said he would
Dm G
So darling dry your eyes So many other guys

But, darling, only now Are you free to start again
Dm G
Lift up your pretty chin Don't let those tears begin

Lack of accuracy. Clearly wrong. The chord progression involves more chords, this tab displays 2 chords for the verse progression and pre chorus progression when it is quite obviously 4 chords in each.

I was insensitive when I commented on this post, here is my abridged correction.

Verse:
C Am F G
You really should accept this time he's gone for good etc...

Pre Chorus:
Am G F
So darling dry your eyes, so many other guys would give the world I'm sure to
G
wear the shoes he wore..

Chorus:
C G Am F G
Smile a little smile for me, Rosemary, what's the use in crying etc...

A7 Dm D7 G
I know that he hurt you bad, I know darling don't be sad and

C G Am F Fm C
Smile a little smile for me, Rosemary, Rosemaryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

That's what I hear for the most part at least.

I will add my 2cents:

Verse:
C, C/B, Am7, Gsus4 (or Am/G) - The point is to walk the C base down to G (C, B, A, G) - Then back to C.

Pre-Chorus:
farzilla (wtf?) is correct, but there plenty of time sthat the Gsus4 is played. you can get by without it, but especially in "wear the shoes you wore..." it should be Gsus4--->release to G (the C note in the sus4 is important to the melody)

Chorus
Starts Same as verse really - C, C/B, Am7, Gsus4 (or Am/G), then lands on F right after the last syllable of "rosemariEE", and then G... back to C.
