e|---0----0---0---0----1----1--|
B|---1----3---1---1----1----3--|

D|---2----0---2---3----3----0--|
A|---3----2---0--------3-------|

Intro/Chorus: C, G, Am

(There’s a kind of hammer-on bit here, which goes like this)

     C G Am
e|---0----0---------0-----|
B|---1----0---------1-----|
G|---0----0---------2-----|
D|---2----0---------2-----|
A|---3----2h3p2-----0-----|
E|--------3-3-3--3--------|

(Just play the G-chords with your ring finger on the E and your middle finger on the A
and hammer-on with your pinky. You can just strum along you don’t have to be exactly
playing this)

Verse I:

Am G
Right before you fell

                         C F
You thought you knew the Universe so well

                    Am G F*
Don't you fear that it might leave you here alone?

    Am G
And don't forget the rain

                C F
It would always wash your sins away

                    Am G F*
Don't you fear that it might leave you here so cold?
Chorus:

     C G Am
Your eyes are forlorn and tired
Your eyes are forlorn and tired

Verse II:

       Am G
You're always on the run

                C F
Leaving all the sadness of the sun

                    Am G F*
Don't you fear that it might leave you here so cold, and you're afraid of love

      Am G
We're fools inside a fire

                        C F
And now the flames have spread to your denial

                    C G
Don't you fear that it might leave you here?

F*
Ooh~

Chorus:
     C G Am
Your eyes are forlorn and tired
Your eyes are forlorn and tired

     C G Am
Your heart is stood in the wild

     C G Am
Your eyes are forlorn and tired

Bridge:

              Dm Am
But don't you worry about it

          C G
Don't you worry about it (4x)

C G Am
Ooh~ hoo-ooh hoo~

     C G Am
Your eyes are forlorn and tired
Your eyes are forlorn and tired

     C G Am
Your heart is stood in the wild

Your eyes are forlorn and tired

Ooh~ hoo-ooh hoo~

Excellent tab!
I found it after commenting on another version that you commented on.
I suggested that there was a G in the chorus.
I also think that C is actually C/G throughout.
It's quite common when used in conjunction with the hammer-on C->G.
That way for both C/G and G you can leave your ring finger on the E string.

Thanks for the comment and rating first of all :)
second if you mean with C/G that you play the thickest string on the 3rd fret along with the C chord, you're correct. I've seen some live footage where they do that
