Breathe Easy by Rachel Sermanni

Great song from a very talented song-writer and performer.
Worked this out on piano, so if playing on guitar ignore the B bass note in the Em/B chords.
Feel free to throw some sus2s into the final F of the choruses and enjoy!

C Em/B F G F x2

   C Em/B
If I could take this wave to sea,
       F G F C
Do you think that we could sail out in the night,
                   Em/B
We must let no one know
               F G C F
So maybe if we go, we'll go unseen,
C Em/B F G F
Passing below the ripples, heed the seashells of the storm, and we'll

C Em/B Am F
Swim, knowing they can't touch us, we'll
C Em/B F C
Swim, knowing they can't touch us

C Em/B Am F
C Em/B F

     C Em/B
If eyes could stop their rumoured lies
        F G F C
D'you think that we could venture to the light?
                   Em/B
I'd even play my violin,
                      F G C F
Scratching on the strings, a laughing joy
C Em/B F G F
I don't want to be that crashing wave, but I'll give it one more try, and we'll

C Em/B Am F
Swim, knowing rain can't touch us
C Em/B Am F
Swim, knowing rain can't touch us
C Em/B Am F
Swim, knowing rain can't touch us
C Em/B F C
Swim, knowing they can't... touch us

           C
And I'll shelter you from harm
        G Dm
And my love will keep you warm
       F G C F
Until all these fears have gone, and we'll

C Em/B Am F
Swim, knowing rain can't touch us
C Em/B Am F
Swim, knowing rain can't touch us
C Em/B Am F
Swim, knowing rain can't touch us
C Em/B F C
Swim, knowing they can't... touch us

        C Em/B F/A G F C
Let me swim, let me swim, let me swim, let me swim into the coast,
Em/B F/A G F
Breathe easy,
        C Em/B F/A G F C
Let me swim, let me swim, let me swim, let me swim into the coast,
Em/B F/A G F
Breathe easy...

C Em/B Am F
C Em/B F
C Em/B Am F G C

Sorry all, the placement of the chords that I spent so long on seems to have all been messed up from the second verse onwards. If you ignore their relationship to the words below though and just keep to the rhythm however you'll be alright. Note that G F as in 'sail out' are half a bar each, and F G C F as in 'go, we'll go unseen' are 1/2 1/2 3/4 1/4.
All the chorus chords are 1/2 each.

Also for the intro obviously that's just a bass line so B not Em/B.
