Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
Album version of chords (as noted by ear)--there is a
studio version here that doesn't jive with my brain...
and the tabs don't match. Perhaps this will work
better for you, too :) I also find it useful to corr-
elate the chords directly above the sung syllable,
where it's strummed. Thanks for reading.

as I always play them.)

Intro: Dm Dm7 Dm Am Am7 Am
       Dm Dm7 Dm Am G

       Dm Dm7 Am Am7 Am
So the floodgates open but nothing comes out

    Dm Dm7 Am G
I'm feeling no relief in my head, just doubt

       Dm Dm7 Am Am7 Am
But my heart keeps telling me "hold your ground"

       Dm Dm7 F G
You'll never learn a thing if you bail out now

        C G Dm
And I'm lonely again tonight

      Am G Dm
I can feel it like a knot in my side

          Am G Dm
They keep saying this is part of the ride

                    Am G
But I'm not getting stronger

    C G Dm
Yet hold me against the light

       Am G Dm
Do you see any bullet inside?

         Am G Dm
Wouldn't find one if you magnified

                       Am G
Because you've got the wrong girl

Dm Dm7 Dm Am Am7 Am

       Dm Dm7 Am Am7 Am
Got my fingers around the back of your chair

    Dm Dm7 Am G
You never miss a thing but you missed me there

      Dm Dm7 Am Am7 Am
And I just kept thinking "Am I prepared?"

   Dm Dm7 Am G
To pull it out from under your trusting stare

        F
Now the house is quiet as a hollow head

        Am
And I'm walking around bumping into things you said

         Dm Dm7
This has not been as easy as I thought it would

       Am G
I'd be cooling down the fire if I thought I could

        C G Dm
And I'm lonely again tonight

      Am G Dm
I can feel it like a knot in my side

          Am G Dm
They keep saying this is part of the ride

                    Am G
But I'm not getting stronger

    C G Dm
Yet hold me against the light

       Am G Dm
Do you see any bullet inside?

         Am G Dm
Wouldn't find one if you magnified

                        Am G
Because you've got the wrong girl

                  Dm Dm7 Am
Yeah, you got the wrong girl

Dm F C G
Oooooo, ooo, ooo, oo-oo-oo

      Dm F C G
Oo-oo-oo, ooo, ooo, oo-oo-oo

Dm F C G
Ooooo, ooo, ooo, oo-oo-oo

      Dm G
Oo-oo-oo-ooo, I see you there

        Dm Dm7 Am
And the floodgates open, but nothin' comes out
