Song: I'm Not Sorry
Album: You Are The Quarry
Tabbed by: Imre Lahdelma (lahdelmi@jippii.fi)

A fairly simple song with nice chords. The two chords during the verse are F#m7 (244220)
Badd11 (X24440)
The chords in the chorus are E, D, A, D and then E, D, A and B
The chords during the outro solo are the same as during the verse.
Listen to the song so that yuo'll get the strumming right.
The lead guitar parts of the song are played with a slide and with a touch of reverb and distortion.

During the (second) verse:

w/slide (don't forget to add reverb and a bit of distortion)

  F#m7 Badd11 F#m7 Badd11
E------------------------------------------------------------|
B-5----------4------------5---------7-\-4--------------------|
G------------------------------------------------------------| X 2
D------------------------------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------------------------|

In the first verse lead guitar is tacet. During the third and the subsequent verses
the lead guitar is occasionally playing this:

w/slide

E-------------|
B-5-\-4-------|
G-------------|
D-------------|
A-------------|
E-------------|

During the chorus:

w/slide

        E D A D
E------------------------------------------------------------|
B-(4-/-)5------5-\-3-------3-\-2-------2-/-3-----------------|
G------------------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------------------------|

  E D A B
E------------------------------------------------------------|
B-5------5-\-3-------3-\-2-------2-/-4-----------------------|
G------------------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------------------------|

(Notes in parentheses are played only the first time)

During the outro flute solo lead guitar is playing this:

w/slide

E------------------------------------------------------------|
B-5-(5) (5) (5) (5)-----4-(4) (4) (4) (4)-----5-/-7----7-/-9-|
G------------------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------------------------|

E------------------------------------------------------------|
B-9-\-4------9---9-\-4------9---9-\-4-----9---9-\-4----------|
G------------------------------------------------------------| fade out...
D------------------------------------------------------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------------------------------------------|

(Notes in parentheses are created by fading the notes in and out with a volume pedal or
the volume knob)

If you play the flute solo with a guitar you can add a sort of jazzier edge to the song
playing in the
mode of F# Dorian.
