Everything seems close to what they play, but has a wrong chord or extra note that seems to throw it off in each section. At least that's how it sounds to me.

The intro sounds good though, I've been trying to figure that out for a while.

well, if the 355 chord in the chorus is G followed by A, D, then A again, it can be looked at like this:

G A D A
I thought of all the things I'd like to say

So maybe you just didn't have the strumming pattern right. I'm not sure what other part could be considered confusing.

Damn that didn't come out right. G is right before the word "I." A is on "thought." D is on "things" and the next A is on "say."
