Hey guys,
If you're having trouble with the original, you can transpose the song a half step down then put a capo on the first fret. Easier for me to play like that!

The easier way would be to transpose this to E-major (half step up), or tune the guitar to half step down tuning. (The tuning should be half step down with original key, not standard.)

Why is everyone saying to transpose and stuff? Why memorize all the new chords and get a capo or have to detune for the song? Does no one use their index finger anymore? Or is the "Bar Chord" no longer in use? I find no extra degree of difficulty with this song being in G#maj/Cmin. In fact, If this were in Amaj/C#min, It would be slightly harder, because that would make the D#maj a Emaj, which is farther out of the way than the D#.
