as a side note there is an easier way to play each little riff with one simple pattern you can use.

for example on the first bass riff you would instead do:
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|------------5-7-----------------------------------|
A|----55555-8---------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------|

and on the second bass riff you would do:
G|---------------------7-9--------------------------|
D|------------77777-10------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------|

Its an easy pattern and you can use it with any of the first notes of those bass riffs throughout the song so you don't have to skip up and down your fretboard to get the right sound!
