[Intro]

G C Em

G Em C x2

[Verse]

G
I'll say goodnight

In the morning I will wake up
Em
To a blinding light
C
And curse all my mistakes

G
And say I'm not what you think

I'll break all the links
     Em C
I'll ignore all the exit signs

G
Cause you have your own mountains to climb
Em C
And I've got skeletons I hide
G
In the back of my mind where I question myself
Em C
I dwell on the past just like everyone else

[Refrain]

Em C G
Don't feel the weight of the world on your shoulders
D/F#
It's not too heavy
Em C G
I'll break my back so you can feel like someone's on
D/F#
Your side

[Chorus]

G
Forget the past and all the heartache
D/F#
The growing pains that keep you awake
Em
I'll sing you to sleep with songs that
C D (If you want it)... That sounded wrong...
Let you know that we'll be ok
G
Round and round and round this goes
D/F#
Playing on your stereo
Em
When I'm away and you can't sleep
C D (Again...) I'm not saying it...
Just know that it's the same for me

C Em A7sus4

[Verse]

G
And every time I see you I remember
         Em
Why I made you mine
     C
That day in mid December
G
Still so young and naive

With our hearts on our sleeves
       Em C
But I know that we'll be alright

              G
They don't know what we share

In the briefest of moments
    Em
I'm head over heels for
    C
The smallest components
      G
That light in your eye

Or that look on your face
Em C
Securing the fact that we both know our place

[Bridge]

G
No one like you girl

No one in the world
Em
The perfect touch to
        C
The picture I had in my head

G
No one like you girl

Nowhere in the world
        Em C
That I would rather be

[Refrain]

      Em C G
Don't feel the weight of the world on your shoulders
D/F#
It's not too heavy
Em C G
Since we met it seems like we crossed paths
            D/F#
At the right time

[Chorus]

G
Forget the past and all the heartache
D/F#
The growing pains that keep you awake
Em
I'll sing you to sleep with songs that
C D (Yea we get it by now...)
Let you know that we'll be ok
G
Round and round and round this goes
D/F#
Playing on your stereo
     Em
When I'm away and you can't sleep
C D (Last time now...)
Just know that it's the same for me

[Outro]

G

"The worried face that keeps you awake" - Correction - "The growing pains that keep you awake"

Also, in the chorus where you put D but thought it didn't sound right, maybe G would be alright. thats what i do after C instead

A few more lyric errors,

"Don't feel the weight of the world on your shoulders" - correction - "Don't put the weight of the world on your shoulders"

"I'm head over heels for the small opponents" - correction - "I'm head over heels for your smallest components"

Besides those, the tab is really good.

if you're playing power chords on an electric use the C chord but if your playing open chords on acoustic play a D chord :)
