Capo is on the second fret, not the first, and the only E in the chorus is at the very start of it when the E from the verse carries over into it.

Other than that, you're spot on.

Many of Neil's later performances were in the key of C, so I think capo placement is up to the performer to fit his/her vocal range.

As far as chords are concerned, I personally like the chords as written here, even though Neil Diamond (and Deep Purple) don't use the chord changes at the end of the first line of each verse.

In the chorus, I like to throw in a couple of strums of Bmsus after "much" and "touch", and I prefer to play the D as D/A (bass note A.) Nonetheless, the tab as written here is very playable, and I think it deserves at least 4 stars.
