Capo
2nd fret
Elevenses
by Neil Halstead Standard tuning, (capo 2nd fret)

(intro)
C	Am	Em	F	C (2X)
C	Am	Em	F	G	G
    C
You’re drinking on your own,
Am Em
You’re running for the coast,
F C
you’re running from those ghosts,
	   Am Em
Running away girl,
Am Em	G
One line to your bus
     C
I’ll see you to the stars
Am Em
And now you’ve got the chance
F C
you might as well just dance
Am Em Am Em	G	G
Gold skies and frozen wings and poetry and things
		          C
I think you’re doing fine
Am Em
Don’t offer me a line
     F C
I only want a cup of tea
Am Em Am Em	G	G
Goldman just won the tie I really can’t stay long
			C
I love the way you’re shaped,
	        Am Em
But you’ve lost a little weight,
F C
Yeah you’ve lost a little weight
Am Em
I’ll see you tomorrow
Am Em	G	G
Same time, same place
		    C
Mother’s little helper
Am Em
is running for her shelter
F C
And no one’s to know
Am Em
Love dead as doornails
Am Em	G	G
They shouldn’t understand
			    C	Am	Em	F
At least that’s what they said
			C	Am	Em	F
She’s gone away for good
			C	Am	Em	F
She’s really made a meal
			C
And blown a record deal
		Am	F
She’s blown a record deal
C Am	F
She’s blown a record deal
		G	G
What are we to do?
		C	Am	Em
See you tomorrow,
	Am Em G
Same time same place
		C	Am	Em
See you tomorrow
	Am Em G
Same time same place
C	Am	Em
I’ll see you tomorrow
	Am Em G
Same time same place
		C	Am	Em
I’ll see you tomorrow
	Am Em G
Same time same place
