Harvest Moon by Neil Young

My version of this song is taken off the unplugged album.
It is the best tabbing for song so only get this and forget
about the rest of them.

This song has a riff playing at intervals throughout the song
and an arpeggio is played as well.

Riff. The riff is played by strummin' chords . It is very important to
only strum from the fourth string down.

E/0 E/0 E/9 E/9
B/10 B/12 B/10 B/12
G/11 G/11 G/11 G/11
D/0 D/0 D/0 D/0

You probably wont be able to get the strummin right unless you
listen to the cd.

[Riff]

The arpeggio is simple.

E|-12-------|
B|---12-----|
G|-----12---|
D|-------12-|
A|----------|
E|----------|

Here are the chords and lyrics:

Great tab, well done.

Think this would be better with 2 guitars - one doing riff/arpeggio, and the other doing the basic chords.

BTW i think old Neil plays a dmaj7 (x,x,0,3,3,3) after the D as well.

Well done though

Just a quick note about the comment above mine: Dmaj7 = xx0222.

Not sure if the chord should be there or not, but that's how you play it if it is.

it's not an arpeggio, it's an harmonic, and it's not so simple... and it only plays through the first verse, standard chords after that... just sayin'
