Intro: A E 2x

I was dancing
With your shadow
A E
Slow down memories hall
        E F#m
I said 'wait have I been seduced and forgotten'
          A E
You said 'Baby havn't we all'

      E F#m
Now I don't like crying
           A E
Because it only gets me wet
      E F#m
But I can't help failing
     Eb C#m
To remember to forget you
And I know it's going to be a long time

        E A
And I'm crying like a church on Monday
E A
Praying for these feelings to go away
So do me a favor baby
Put down your new god
    A E
And love me like Sunday again

(same as verse above)
I was hiding in your bedroom
When I saw him come inside
I can't live in his shadow
Is that where I'm dancing untill I die

NoW I don't light candles
Because they make me see the light
That I can't help failing
To remember to forget you
And I know it's gonna be a long time

then chorus

All good, but I think the Eb & C#m is wrong.

Agree on Eb and C#m, doesn't sound right no matter how I try to work those chords in. When I play it I just alternate tapping my guitar for a percussive sound and strumming an open A chord, sound good to me altho I don't think that's what they do in the song by a long shot! :P

I think instead of the Eb its an Abm... the C#m is right
