Nirvana - About a Girl,
by Kurt Cobain

this is one of my favourite nirvana songs and i'm sick of seeing bad tabs for it;/
if you listen to the song and match the chords i swear you'll find this is right
although it may not at first glace LOOK  right, but it is;

B|-----0-------2-|
G|-----0-------0-|
D|-2-2---0-0-0---| X as many times as you need throughout the verse
A|-2-2---2-2-2---|
E|-0-0---3-3-3---|

[Chorus]

                    before
                 going into verse
                   | |
e|------------------|-----| |------------------------|
B|------------------|-----| |------------------------| then back
G|-6-6--------------|-----| |-----9-9-9-------5--5-5-| to verse
D|-6-6-6-6--4-4-X-4-|-4-4-| X 2 |-2-2-9-9-9-7-7-X-5--5-5-| chords

ok...if you listen carefully to the song, he does little upstrokes on the high e and B....so I usually play it like this
e---0------3-3-3
B---0------3-3-3
G---------------
D-2--2-0-0------
A-2--2-2-2------
E-0--0-3-3------
and you've gotta put it a half step down so that everything is flat....when you do that, you've got a great song..great tabbed out solo by the way
and another thing....when he plays the chorus..he plays the 466 three times, then the third time he lets off the 4 so it's 066..and he plays the 799 on
EAD...and yet another thing...he plays the second part of the chorus 355 (EAD) then 355 (ADG)..but otherwise, besides those changes, great song!
