I looked at the chords another tabber did and played along with the music...it
didn't sound right so i tune my guitar and it still didn't sound right...so i
just played w/ the music..the chords that were given were a step off..so here are
the actual chords...Correct me if there is error....

Yeah, I just tried it along with the song, in standard E tuning, and it sounded fine. For the three chords, I would just use the E shape and slide it around with barre chords. Like, instead of the 001114 for the G#, just use a E-shaped barre chord on the 4th fret, slide it down to a open E, then slide up to the 9th fret for the C#. That's probably the easiest way. Then just play the power chords at the same frets for the distorted parts. I think the bend in the distorted part is on the G string, 4th fret, you can throw that in there too, play it with your middle finger after the G# and E power chord.

You can always play the A-shaped barre chord at the 4th fret for the C# if you want, I forgot to mention that. It's probably easier, for the power chord at least, to play it there instead of sliding it up. But then again, you'll probably get a fatter sound if you play it at the 9th with the bottom three stings.
