I got these chords from watching the MTV Unplugged in New York DVD, and I thought I'd
tab them for you since all the other acoustic versions are (i'm sorry to say this) wrong.

When you get to the bridge/chorus, all the chords are barred, so you go from a regular G
to a barred G, which may sound a little off the first few times you play it, but I can
assure you that this is how Kurt Cobain does it in the show...so enjoy!

Am G
I'm on my time with everyone
Am G
I have very bad posture

G A A#
Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
G A A#
Distill the life that's inside of me
G A A#
Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
G A A#
I'm anemic royalty

Am G
Give me a Leonard Cohen afterworld
Am G
So I can sigh eternally

G A A#
I'm so tired I can't sleep
G A A#
I'm a liar and a thief
G A A#
Sit and drink pennyroyal tea
G A A#
I'm anemic royalty

Am G
I'm on warm milk and laxatives
Am G
Cherry-flavored antacids

G A A#
Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
G A A#
Distill the life that's inside of me
G A A#
Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
G A A#
I'm anemic royalty

You're wrong man

It may LOOK like he's playing G and A, but he's realy playing C and D

. Way off on the chorus. Verse is correct. Chorus is D, Bb and C. Etc. Barre chords or open chords are fine
