"Lyla" by Oasis from the album "Don't Believe the Truth" (2005) coming May 30, 2005.

Tabbed by: Medalion
Email: medalionemissary@hotmail.com

The song is predominantly chord driven with a few guitar fills here or there.
Tablature is not necessarily shown to reflect timing, listen to song for that.
All bends in this tab are full-step bends (bend note up 2 frets) accompanied
by lots of vibrato. All chords are relative to capo.

Tuning: EADGBe with **Capo on 2nd fret**

LYRICS
******
Calling all the stars to fall
and catch the silver sunlight in your hands
cover me and set me free
lift me up and take me where i stand
she believes in everything
and everyone and you and yours and mine

I waited for a thousand years
for you to come and blow me out my mind

HEY LYLA!!!
The stars about to fall
so what you sayyyyyy
LYLA!!!
The world around us makes me feel SO small
LYLA!!!
If you can't hear me call then I can't
sayyyyyy
LYLA!!!
heaven help you catch me if I FALL

She's the Queen of all I've seen
and every song and city far and near
heaven help my mademoiselle

she ring the bell
from Rome for all to hear

HEY LYLA!!!
The stars about to fall
so what you sayyyyyy
LYLA!!!
The world around us makes me feel SO small
LYLA!!!
If you can't hear me call then I can't
sayyyyyy
LYLA!!!
heaven help you catch me if I FALL

HEY LYLA!!!
The stars about to fall
so what you sayyyyyy
LYLA!!!
The world around us makes me feel SO small
LYLA!!!
If you can't hear me call then I can't
sayyyyyy
LYLA!!!
heaven help you catch me when I FALL

HEYYYY

All of the tab sounds completely different to the original song and the chord explanations at the top aren't even correct!? That version of the G chord is quite interesting...
