OLD FAMILIAR WAY - OF MONTREAL

This is based on dcolspector's fantastic guitar tab. The song sounds great on
uke, so I figured I'd tab it out for anyone who doesn't want to look up the
vast number of chords in this song. Enjoy!

G F C

C A7
Neither the flowers on the hill,
       Dm Fm
Or the moonlight on the sea,
     C F#-5 F Dm
Have ever looked so blue.
    C F#dim Fm6 C
And everything looks new again,
        E7 C F
In that old familiar way.

    C A7
The view from my room,
       Dm Fm
Of the ships on the bay,
            C F#-5 F Dm
Had come to bore me through and through.
         C F#dim Fm6 C
But they suddenly seem new again,
        Gm C7 F
In that old familiar way.

    E7 F G G7 C
The delicate ballet of blossoms falling off a tree,
    G# D#
Had long gone unnoticed by me.
    E7 F C
I'm stunned by what now I finally see.
It's amazing the wonders you can find,
Just by stepping outside.

C G F C

          C A7
There's a skip in my step,
    Dm Fm
a divine state of joy,
   C F#-5 F Dm
In everything I do.
      C F#dim Fm6 C
Cause I am feeling new again,
        E7 C F
In that old familiar way.

          C A7
When I'm awoken from my dreams,
     Dm Fm
By a cuckoo on the roof,
  C F#-5 F Dm
I always join in too. (Cuckoo!)
    C F#dim Fm6 C
And every sound sounds new again,
        Gm C7 F
In that old familiar way.

    E7 F G G7 C
The life I used to know when I was busy, always on the go,
G# D#
Left me with nothing to show.
E7 F C
Now I feel that I can honestly say,
I'm living a suitable life.
I'm glad I finally got it right.

end on C

do you know how much I'd have to tune down to get it in the same key as it is on the album?
