Brushy Mountain Conjugal Trailer by OCMS. From the album "Remedy"

Transcribbed by DWdrummer67. Great tune. Enjoy!

As far as the D# note goes... you can do this through the entire verse section.
However... if you
have another person that you play with... have them do it. It just cleaner that way. You
can also
just leave it out if you'd like. BTW... a D# note is the B string on the 4th fret.

Intro: C, D# Note (4x)

C
Doing hard time just got a little hotter
Way up on the cell block, listen to her holler
Looky here honey, if you don't keep quiet
We're bound to start another brushy mountain prison riot

Chorus:
F C
Come on we're unshackled tonight
           G
I got a little time off for good behavior
               F C
So let's rock it in the Brushy Mountain conjugal trailer

C
All shacked up and incarcerated
Locked down lovers just a getting reacquainted
Bars on the windows listen to 'em rattle
Tin can jumping like a rodeo saddle

Chorus:
F C
Come on we're unshackled tonight
             G
I got a little time off for good behavior
               F...
So let's rock it in the Brushy Mountain conjugal trailer

Bridge:
F
Give me a slide-out, double-wide, Class A trailer
C
Wrap it up in razor wire and take it to the jailer
G
Hurry up honey ?cause they hang me at dawn
          F G C
I wanna jive a little 'fore I put my? jumpsuit on

Break: C D# note (4x)
C
Early next morning there's a knock upon the trailer
It's old mister hangman looking for a favor
Hey buddy with the lady if you do some introducing
I'll call up the governor for a stay of execution

Chorus:
F C
Come on we'll liberate you tonight
            G
If you'll allow the pretty lady to stay a little later
     F...
And let me in your Brushy Mountain Conjugal Trailer

Outro: C, D# Note (4x)

Hey DW. Thanks for the chart. One comment after playing this tune would be that it seems like Old Crow plays this transposed with the capo on the 5th fret. It makes a difference because the D# you mentioned is a pretty important note at the end of every bar and once transposed, I'm pretty sure it is played as an A# on the high E (6th fret) so it really stands out. Nothing wrong with your chart though. Gave it 5 stars.

Thanks Jabba! I'll have to try that. I appreciate the rating too.

It is a C played in the last line of the chorus, not an F
