Is anybody Home? (acoustic)
Our Lady Peace
Tuned down half a step (D#, A#, F#, C#, G#, D#)

This is a version I made because I love this song and wanted to play it for my friends.
can play it standard tuning if you like, but it won't be like OLP plays it... And this
my first time so be gentle!

 F#m Dsus2 E Asus2 E6
A Asus4 Bm G F#
-2--------0--------0--------0--------0----0---5--------5--------2-----3----2-|
-2--------3--------0--------0--------0----2---5--------5--------3-----3----2-|
-2--------2--------1--------2--------6----2---6--------7--------4-----4----3-|
-4--------0--------2--------2--------6----0---7--------7--------4-----5----4-|
-4-----------------2--------0--------4--------7--------5--------2-----5----4-|
-2-----------------0-----------------0--------5--------5--------------3----2-|

(I start by playing it gently)
F#m Dsus2 E
Goodbye, the future's sold out
Asus2
There's no use screaming
F#m Dsus2 E6
Who thought we'd ever get this far

Interlude (see tab at the end) or F#m, A/D, E, Asus2 (2x)

F#m Dsus2 E
Tonight, your faith has come down
Asus2
To money and a TV
F#m Dsus2 E
Psychics who've never been to mars and
Asus2
Nazis breast feeding
F#m Dsus2 E
I know you must be upset
Asus2
I can't find meaning
F#m Dsus2
I'm sorry, we're sorry
E6
We're all scared, all scared

Chorus (see tab at the end)
Hey, is anybody home?
Has anybody wasted tears on
Loneliness that everyone...

Interlude (see tab at the end) or F#m, A/D, E, Asus2 (2x)

F#m Dsus2 E
Goodnight, the truth has come out
Asus2
That everyone's needy
F#m Dsus2 E
White teeth, a ticket to meet God and
Asus2
Be all that you envy
F#m Dsus2 E
The shotgun under your bed, has
Asus2
Started breathing
F#m Dsus2
You shot it, you shot it
E6
I'm bare, I’m bare

Chorus 1 (see tab at the end)
Hey, is anybody home?
Has anybody wasted tears on
Loneliness that everyone becomes

Chorus 2(see tab at the end; it's almost the same as the first one)
Is anybody low?
Has anybody painted fear on
Bedroom walls that save us from...

A Asus4
And hey, is anybody home?
                 Bm
Has anybody wasted tears on
G F#
Loneliness that everyone becomes

When they're not alright

(I'm a little more agressive when I play this part but not that much)
A, Asus4, Bm, G, F#, F# (I just play this instead of the solo; I didn't found a way to
it acoustic)

(But here you can start to be agressive in your playing here it)
A Asus4
Hey, is anybody home?
               Bm
Has anybody wasted tears on
G A
Loneliness that everyone becomes

            Asus4
Is anybody low?
                Bm
Has anybody painted fear on
G
The bedroom walls that everyone

A
Becomes... Becomes ...
Asus4
Becomes... Becomes...
Bm
Becomes... Becomes...

G A
The loneliness that everyone becomes....

Asus4, Bm, G (Just end by playing slowly and play the G one time)

And that's about it...

Interlude:
          F#m A/D E

I play the chorus like this, but your way is good too.

e|----------|----------|----------|------10--|
B|------14--|------14--|------14--|----10----|
G|----14----|----14----|----14----|----------|
D|----------|--12------|----------|----------|
A|--12------|----------|--14------|--10------|
E|----------|----------|----------|----------|

this is the chord progression under the guitar solo.

C#m - G# - B - F#m (3x)
...last time just C#m - G# then back into the chorus.

personally, if i'm leaving out the guitar solo (which i normally do if i'm just playing acoustic), i would still rather play the chords that go under the solo, than play something from a different part of the song.
