                            WE ARE BROKEN - Paramore
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Krista

Tuning: Down 1/2 Step EbBbGbDbAbEb

Chords:

  Cadd9 Em7 G C Em D Bb F
e|---3----3---3---0---0---2---1---1---|
B|---3----3---3---1---0---3---3---1---|
G|---0----0---0---0---0---2---3---2---|
D|---2----2---0---2---3---0---3---3---|
A|---3----2---2---3---2---x---1---3---|
E|---x----x---3---x---0---x---1---1---|

I was really surprised there were no decent tabs for this song;
and it's always been one of my favorites, so I went ahead and tabbed it.
I'm no good at writing out strumming patterns,
I wish people would stop e-mailing asking me to do so.
What I do know is, you should emphasize these notes during the verses;
whether you hit that string individually then strum the chord,
or just strum and hit it a bit louder. (You don't have to though!)

E|---0----0--0-0--3-3-|

Cadd9 Em7
 I am outside
               G Cadd9
And I've been waiting for the sun
         Em7
 With my wide eyes
           G Cadd9
I've seen worlds that don't belong
          Em7 G Cadd9
My mouth is dry with words I cannot verbalize
       Em7 G
Tell me why we live like this

C Em D
 Keep me safe inside
                   C
 Your arms like towers
       Em D
 Tower over me, yeah

Em7 G
 Cause we are broken
D
What must we do to restore
Em7 G
 Our innocence
D C
And oh, the promise we adored
         Em
 Give us life again
C Em G
Cause we just wanna be whole

Cadd9 Em7
 Lock the doors
                 G
Cause I like to capture this voice
Cadd9 Em7
 It came to me tonight
         G Cadd9
So everyone will have a choice
           Em7
 And under red lights
             G Cadd9
I'll show myself it wasn't forged
       Em7
 We're at war
         G
 We live like this

C Em D
 Keep me safe inside
                   C
 Your arms like towers
       Em D
 Tower over me

Em7 G
 Cause we are broken
D
What must we do to restore
Em7 G
 Our innocence
D C
And oh, the promise we adored
         Em
 Give us life again
C Em G
Cause we just wanna be whole

Bb F C x2

Bb F C (F)
 Tower over me
Bb F C D
 Tower over me

D
And I'll take the truth at any cost

Em7 G
 Cause we are broken
D
What must we do to restore
Em7 G
 Our innocence
D C
And oh, the promise we adored
         Em
 Give us life again
C Em G
Cause we just wanna be whole

(above) you tune a half step by tuning to standard each string when you are holding down on the first fret.
