[Verse]
       C F C
We are bitter losers, snarling through our smiles
          Am F G
We're the lost boys, in the supermarket isles
      F G
We're Christmas dogs, dumped by the side of the road
C Am
Confused, we will run for miles
       F
We are road rage
      G
We are stone age
     C
We are wild
           C F C
We are busted light bulbs, in a backstreet neon sign
          Am F G
We're the shaking gun, in a service station line
      F
We'll drink though we're drunk,
      G
We'll sink though we've sunk
C Am
We're f****d but we say that we're fine
F
We are rampage,
G C
Missing back pages in our spine

[Chorus]
      F C G
We long, for journeys and the roadside
      F C G
We long, for starlight and the low tide
      F C G
Yeah, we long, for fairy tales and fire sides
    C
And oh.

[Instrumental]
E|----------------------------------------------------|
A|-----1-----1-----1-----1-----1-----1-----0-----1----|
D|---0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----1-----0------|
G|-------3-----2-----0-----------2-----2-----2-----2--| (x2)
B|-3-----------------------3--------------------------|
e|----------------------------------------------------|

    C
We are coffeehouse cynics,
    F C
Too righteous, too rigid to believe
    Am
Disappointed romantics,
F G
Scraping the hearts from our sleeves
          F
We're the toothless drunk,
          G
We're the aging punk
             C
Yeah, we are Adam,
                          Am
We're the apple and we're Eve
F G C
We are beggars with shiny pennies, on our knees

[Chorus]
      F C G
We long, for sunlight on the hillsides
          F C G
Yeah, we long, for yesterdays and hindsight
      F C G
Oh, we long, for fairy tales and fire sides
    C
And oh.

[Verse]
       F C G
Yeah we long for carnivals and fairground rides
       F C G
Oh, we long for journeys and the roadsides
       F C G
Oh, we long for fairy tales and fire sides
    C
And oh.

[Outro]

Capo on the 3rd to play along with Passenger, but really whatever suits your voice works best. Play around with it and try transposing if ya think you can't hit them notes.
