                             Sunflower - Paul Welller
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Jack The Hat
Email: jackthehat93@hotmail.co.uk

Tuning: Standard

Now if you look at the intro version its that but with the rest of the song
on it.

Intro/Chorus:
e|-----7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------|
B|---5---5---5---5---5---5---5---5---5---7---5---5---5---5-----|
G|-7-------7-------6-------6-------5-------5-------4-------4---|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------|

On the second one you switch the last 7 on the e,
for a five like this:

e|-----7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------7-------5-----5-|
B|---5---5---5---5---5---5---5---5---5---7---5---5---5---5-----|
G|-7-------7-------6-------6-------5-------5-------4-------4---|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------|

Verse: If you listen to the song,
             you will understand
   Am E this bit
e|--O-----x----|----------|
B|--1-----x----|----------|
G|--2-----1----|----------|
D|--2-----2---2-O---------|
A|--O-----2-------2-O-----|
E|--O-----O-----------O---|

Then into the verse before the pre is this
      C G A#m
e|----3------3-------5--|
B|----3------3-------5--|
G|----5------4-------5--|Then go back to the first part of the the
D|----5------5-------7--|verse on the first verse, if that makes
A|----3------5-------7--|sense.
E|----3------3-------5--|

Pre: E
e|----O-O-O-O--|
B|----O-O-O-O--|
B|----O-O-O-O--|
D|----2-2-2-2--|
A|----2-2-2-2--|
E|----O-O-O-O--|

After the second chorus, i think?, play this. And play it at the end.

e|-----9--12-9----14----12-12-----------9-12---9-----|
B|-----9--12-9----14----12-12-x8-then---9-12---9--x2-|
G|---------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------|

I thought it was quite hard at first so take it steady, on the intro/chorus i mean.

| / slide up
| \ slide down
| h hammer-on
| p pull-off
| ~ vibrato
| + harmonic
| x dont play

this is jack the hat who tabbed it, and just to clear up the mistake on the second part of the intro, you dont switch it for a 5, you switch it for a 4........sorry.

wouldn't A#m be:

-6-
-6-
-6-
-8-
-8-
-6-?

The chord you put was a normal Am

Love the tab though!

Good start but there is room for improvement.
Couple of things I hear differently:

The riff after (verse) Am - E he plays a G on the E string before the open E.

I think the other verse chord pattern is C - G - F - E

The break part is based around, from what I can hear, a C#m (9th fret). Not certain about this section but it sounds like he hammers -9h11- on the A and D strings and then improvises a little fill on the G and B strings.
