Tabbed by Ben Chen

Amadd9: 577557
F#7: 242322
Cm6: x35545
Daug: xx0776

G Am Amadd9 Am Amadd9
Why deny all the troubles when combined
  Am Amadd9 Am F#7 G
With the missing links it don’t feel like home now
That your gone all the troubles suddenly explained infinitum
You’re always wishing and never here at home
You all the dreams we shared and
Dm C
lights we turned on
           Cm6 A#
but the house is getting dark
      Dm C
and I don’t want to know your past
        Cm6 A#
but together share the dawn

      Daug G Bm Em Bm
and I won’t need nothing else
cause when we’re dead
                   C G
we would’ve had it all
G Bm Em Bm Am
And I wouldn't falling from the sky tell you
                        C G
Parachutes have opened now

G Am
Heaven knows if there’s a ceiling
Amadd9 Am Amadd9 Am Amadd9 Am
Come so low with the kneeling
                     F#7 G Dm
Please know that I got all the friends I’m needing
Before my light go out
          Cm6 A#
As the doors are closing now
       Dm C
And far away will be my home
          Cm6 A#
And to grasp this, I don’t know

      Daug G Bm Em
But I don’t need
            Bm Am C G
Further back and forth, a wave will break on me today
     G Bm
And love
Em Bm Am
Wish the world could glow again with love
                           C G
One can’t seem to have enough
     G Bm
And war
Em Bm Am
Break the sky and tell me what it's for
                      C G
I’ll travel there on my own
     G Bm Em
And love
What a different life
      Am C G
Had I not found this love with you

The placement of the chords is off a bit, but that's minor, really. I'm pretty sure Amadd9 isn't a chord and you don't explain what you mean by it anyway. The "Cm6" is, as far as I can tell, not possible to finger. I don't think that F#7 is the chord being used anywhere in the song. That isn't a Daugmented chord you have listed there as a D augmented chord involves a sharpened 5th note by a half step, and the 5th note here appears to be sharpened by a whole step. Perhaps you meant: XX0776. In any case I'm not sure that is the chord that would go there. Also, at the parts in the song like when ed sings "it don't feel like" the notes decend down a chromatic scle from A down to F#. For example. "[A]it [G#]don't [G]feel [F#]like". I hope that's clear. Anyway, you might want to include that.

Thanks for the comments, Sister Bob. Just some clarifications... I discovered that the formatting was totally screwed up because I submitted in Opera, not IE. Hopefully UG will post my resubmission with the corrected format. Amadd9 is just an Am barre chord with a B pinkyed-on. If you can't do the Cm6 that I listed, try it with the root on the E string (8-10-10-8-10-x). The xx0776 Daug that I listed is definitely the right chord. The F#7 is only strummed once, RIGHT before the return to G at the end of the chromatic section. Finally, the chromatic section is played over a D9 chord (x5455x) and remains on that until the quick F#7-G. (Only the bass actually descends chromatically.) Oh, and if UG posts my resubmission, you'll see that the chorus actualy goes G-Bm-Em and back to G, not to Bm again. I'm new at tabbing, so I'm not sure how many times they'll let me resubmit modifications...
