Pendulum - Self vs Self

I was inspired, having seen Pendulum for the 3rd time last weekend in Nottingham,
England, to write this tab. (They didn't even play this song lol)

This is genuinely my first tab... however this seems pretty accurate from the live
footage I've seen of Pendulum (aswell as having been there myself) and it sounds a
darn sight better than the standard tuning rubbish some other members have offered
up!

The track is in drop Bb (listed as drop A#), which is slowly becoming the single
most irritating tuning ever (I don't play ANY other songs in this tuning) and also
my favourite tuning... so damned heavy! :D

I'll try n do as much of the song as I can and then upload the rest ASAP. Here we
go:

KEY:
p = Palm Mute
# = Let Ring

Intro: Stumming pattern isn't exactly rocket science but it can be difficult to
get around the fretboard quick enough.

Guitar 1
-----------------------------------------------------------------|
---------8-10------------8-10------------8-10------------8-10----|
--------------10--------------10--------------10--------------10-|
-0---0-0---------0---0-0---------8---8-8---------8---8-8---------|
-0---0-0---------0---0-0---------5---5-5---------5---5-5---------|
-0---0-0---------0---0-0---------5---5-5---------5---5-5---------|
     p-p p-p p-p p-p

Guitar 2
-----------------------------------------------------------------|
-----------------------------------------------------------------|
---------9-10------------9-10------------9-10------------9-10----|
-0---0-0------12-0---0-0------12-8---8-8------12-8---8-8------12-|
-0---0-0---------0---0-0---------5---5-5---------5---5-5---------|
-0---0-0---------0---0-0---------5---5-5---------5---5-5---------|
     p-p p-p p-p p-p

The next bit is very basic, the picking pattern and palm mutes are fairly easi to
pick up:

Guitar 1 (alone)
----------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|
-5-5-5-55-5-5-55-5-5-55-5-5-55-5-55-5---|
----------------------------------------|
   p-p-pp-p-p-pp-p-p-pp-p-p-pp-p-pp-p---| x2

Both Guitars
----------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|
----------------------------------------|
-0-0-0-00-0-0-00-0-0-00-0-0-00-0-00-0---|
   p-p-pp-p-p-pp-p-p-pp-p-p-pp-p-pp-p---| x2

Then they play the latter part without the palm mutes x4.

MAIN RIFF! (God I love this bit, the harmony sounds wicked on the actual track -
please note this isn't 100% accurate because there are 3 guitars in the record,
one of those plays the lower notes and the other two split and play the harmony)

Guitar 1
--------------------------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------------------------|
------14---12------14-14-12-14----10-----9-10-------10-9---10-|
-0--0----0----0--00------------5-----5-5--5---8--88------8----|
-0--0----0----0--00------------5-----5-5--5---8--88------8----|
-0--0----0----0--00------------5-----5-5--5---8--88------8----|
         p p-p p p

Guitar 2
--------------------------------------------------------------|
--------------------------------------------------------------|
------10---9--------10-10-9-10----7-----5---7-------7-5----7--|
-0--0----0----0--00------------5-----5-5--5---8--88------8----|
-0--0----0----0--00------------5-----5-5--5---8--88------8----|
-0--0----0----0--00------------5-----5-5--5---8--88------8----|
         p p-p p p

Verse: Play this a bunch of times, then with open string palm mutes, then open
string notes in between until the pre-chorus.

-----------------------------------------------|
-----------------------------------------------|
-----------------------------------------------|
-----------------------------------8-7-8-9-8-7-|
----5--5----5--5----------5--5-----8-7-8-9-8-7-|
-0---00------00-0-3-0--0---00------8-7-8-9-8-7-| xloads

Pre-Chorus: "Cos nothing lasts foreverrrrrrr"

Both Guitars
------------------------------|
------------------------------|
------------------------------|
-3~~~~~~3~~~~~~3~~~~~~3~~~~~~-|
-3~~~~~~3~~~~~~3~~~~~~3~~~~~~-|
-3~~~~~~3~~~~~~3~~~~~~3~~~~~~-|

MORE TO COME! I'll be honest, there isn't much more going on in this song. The
Chorus is the main riff without the harmony pretty much and the break down in synthed.

I love you Pendulum.

Hey man, I agree, A# quite annoying, why can't they play in ****in A so I just have to drop tune my 7 string. This and asthmatic by spineshank are the only A# songs I ****in play.
