Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
Only four chords are used in this song, but they're a little weird.
The guitar sounds busier than it actually is because the bass changes a lot.
If you wanted to play this solo acoustic, you could move the chords around
a bit to match the bass, but this is one hundred percent accurate to the record.

B - 799800
B/E - 099800
B/Bb - 699800
Esus2 - x791100

[Verse]

N.C.
Chipped paint; Carol's gonna turn into dust.
N.C.
An old saint; A silver surface worn into rust
N.C.
From long nights in a neighborhood I started to trust.
                 B B/E
To you, it's just Scotch Tape and a heightened sense of cowardly pride,
                                             B
A u-lock (some entitlement to keep by your side),
                                       B/E
A felt pen, a detour from your morning ride
                      B
And what's left behind with your note.
                                    B/E
It's the reason I'll be running so late.
                                               B
A fine point to write off what I'll draw on today
                                          B/E
And draft out the story line to acting my age. To which I say:

[Chorus]

B/Bb B Esus2
Whoa whoa whoa whoa
                                 B/Bb B Esus2
Have you ever felt your perfect teeth (woah woah woah woah)
Esus2
Make a connection with Chicago concrete?

[Interlude]

B B/E (x2)

[Verse]

B B/E
It's messed up. You always can become what you hate.
                                            B
It's bad luck or intention for attention's sake.
                                                         B/E
It's so fucked that you couldn't say this straight to my face. To which I say:

[Chorus]

B/Bb B Esus2
Whoa whoa whoa whoa
                                 B/Bb B Esus2
Have you ever felt your perfect teeth (woah woah woah woah)
Esus2
Make a connection with Chicago concrete?

[Bridge]

B/Bb B Esus2
Do gears change as often as the seasons?
                        B/Bb
Is there a cycle set to breathe in?
             B Esus2
Is this the part of me I'll forget?
Esus2
A chained fence, the cement
Esus2
Where a casual promise can become a threat.

[Verse]

Esus2
Chipped paint; Carol's gonna turn into dust.
Esus2
An old saint; A silver surface worn into rust
Esus2
From long nights in a neighborhood I started to trust.
Esus2
To me, it's just messed up you always can become what you hate.
Esus2
It's bad luck or intention for attention's sake.
Esus2
It's so fucked that I couldn't say this straight to your face. To which you'll say:

[Chorus]

Esus2 B/Bb B Esus2
Have you ever felt your perfect teeth (woah woah woah woah)
Esus2
Make a connection with Chicago concrete?
B/Bb B Esus2
Do gears change as often as the seasons?
                         B/Bb
Is there a cycle set to breathe in?
             B Esus2
Is this the part of me you'll forget?

DUDE, you are the best. I've been playing this for the past few days, too, and just realized you posted it haha. This is another one I've been wanting to play for ages, thank you so much for posting so many great songs / spot on chords!
