My guitar teacher taught me how to play the verse properly and i listened to the song 
heard that the other opportunity tabs are missing a chord between G and Em. So i hope it 
good to you.
Once you listen to the song you will understand completely how there is three chords in 
main riff.

I'm not sure, I think it is just a G then Em with a little F# bass note in between.

You sort of have it but you have F anf F# trying to say the same things.

The G goes down to Em with only a change in the bass and there is a rolling bass between chords all the way through.

For example, at the start it goes G, G/F#, Em and then Em, Em/F#, G, then it goes to...Em/B, Am, Am/B, C, C/B, Am. Trust me - I have a good ear. Someone should tab it out properly...will see if I get the chance.
