This tab is better, for I have seen Frampton live. This is how the intro goes:

e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-1---3-1------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---2-----2-0----0---2-0--------0---2-0------------------------------------|
D|------------------2-----2-0------2-----2-0----2-0---0---------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------2-----------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
                                                Slowly

Repeat as necessary.

This is my first time posting to a guitar tab site - so I'll keep it humble. Consider my version of the intro (I'm pretty sure it's right)...

Song Title: Do you feel like I do
From Album: Frampton comes Alive
Transcribed By: Da7n
Contact Email:
Tuning (if not standard):
Capo: no
Notes on how to play it: I tabbed this high up on the neck.
Obviously it can be played in any position on the neck. Listen to
the record to get the timing and feeling.
TAB:

e |------10---------------------------------------------------------|
b |-13-10--13-10----------------------------------------------------|
g |-------------12~-10-13p12-10-------10--13p12-10------------------|
d |-------------------12-------12-10~---12-------12-10~----12-10--10|
a |-------------------------------------------------------------12--|
E |-----------------------------------------------------------------|

e |------10---------------------------------------------------------|
b |-13-10--12-10----------------------------------------------------|
g |-------------12~--10--12-10--------10--12-10---------------------|
d |--------------------12-----12-10~----12-----12-10~---12~12~12~12~|
a |-----------------------------------------------------------------|
E |-----------------------------------------------------------------|

On the record, the first measure is played low on the neck with some open strings in D. The second measure harmonizes with the organ. What I've got here is closest to the 3rd and 4th measures, minus the frilly stuff. The 5th and 6th measures change key to (F), but the idea is the same. Then rock out to the verse.

It'd be nice to see someone do the whole song...

| / slide up
| \ slide down
| h hammer-on
| p pull-off
| ~ vibrato
| + harmonic
| x Mute note

This tab is good, but except at the end it goes

---2-0--- instead of ---2-0-0
------2-0 ------2-
