[Intro]

D, Bm, Em, G, Em, A, D

[Verse]

        D Bm Em G
If you miss the train I'm on, you will know that I am gone
         Em G A
You can hear the whistle blow, a hundred miles
          D Bm Em G
A hundred miles, a hundred miles, a hundred miles, a hundred miles
          Em G D
You can hear the whistle blow, a hundred miles

[Chorus]

Lord I'm one, lord I'm two, Lord I'm three, Lord I'm four
Lord I'm five hundred miles from my home
Five hundred miles, five hundred miles, five hundred miles, five hundred miles
Lord I'm five hundred miles from my home

[Verse]

Not a shirt on my back, not a penny to my name
Lord I can't go on this a-way
This a-way, this a-way, this a-way, this a-way
Lord I can't go on this a-way

[Outro]

If you miss the train I'm on, you will know that I am gone
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles

(Notes: Bm chord played barring second fret, adding 3rd fret 2 on b, and 4th fret 4
on g, and 3 on d. This is most accurate with the recording)

thank you for the effort. Nicely done. How about putting the chords all the way through next time. Some of us old people don't get it memorized as quickly as when we were younger.
