{title:Weave Me the Sunshine}
{st:Peter Yarrow}
{C:Chorus:}
     [C]Weave, [D]weave, [G]weave me the [Em]sunshine
     [C]Out of the [D]falling [G]rain.[Em]
     [C]Weave me the [D]hope of a [G]new to[Em]morrow,
     And [A7]fill my cup ag[D]ain.

     [C]Weave, [D]weave, [G]weave me the [Em]sunshine
     [C]Out of the [D]falling [G]rain.[Em]
     [C]Weave me the [D]hope of a [G]new to[Em]morrow,
     And [A7]fill my cup ag[D]ain.

Well I've [Em]seen the steel and [Bm]concrete crumble,
[C]Shine on [D]me ag[G]ain.
The [Em]proud and the mighty [A7]all have stumbled,
[D]Shine on me ag[D7]ain.

     {C:Chorus.}

They say that the tree of loving,
Shine on me again,
Grows on the bank of the river of suffering,
Shine on me again.

     {C:Chorus.}

If only I could heal your sorrow,
Shine on me again,
I'd help you to find your new tomorrow,
Shine on me again.

     {C:Chorus.}

Only you can climb that mountain,
Shine on me again,
If you want to drink at that golden fountain,
Shine on me again.

     {C:Chorus.}

This is based on the esisting tab for this song, which is pretty good, except that the song is in C Major, not G (at least in the recording I'm listening to). This song also starts out a little on the quiet side, and gets louder at every verse.

Weave Me The Sunshine
By Peter Yarrow

Chorus:
[F]Weave, [G]weave, [C]weave me the [Am]sunshine
[F]Out of the [G]falling [C]rain.[Am]
[F]Weave me the [G]hope of a [C]new to[Am]morrow,
And [D7]fill my cup ag[G]ain.

[F]Weave, [G]weave, [C]weave me the [Am]sunshine
[F]Out of the [G]falling [C]rain.[Am]
[F]Weave me the [G]hope of a [C]new to[Am]morrow,
And [D7]fill my cup ag[G]ain.

[Verse I]
Well I've [Am]seen the steel and [Em]concrete crumble,
[F]Shine on [G]me ag[C]ain.
The [Am]proud and the mighty [D7]all have stumbled,
[G]Shine on me ag[G7]ain.

[Chorus]

[Verse II]
They say that the tree of loving,
Shine on me again,
Grows on the bank of the river of suffering,
Shine on me again.

[Chorus]

[Verse III]
If only I could heal your sorrow,
Shine on me again,
I'd help you to find your new tomorrow,
Shine on me again.

[Chorus]

Verse I, again]
Well I've seen the steel and concrete crumble,
Shine on me again.
The proud and the mighty all have stumbled,
Shine on me again now.

[Chorus]

[Verse IV]
Only you can climb that mountain,
Shine on me again,
If you want to drink at that golden fountain,
Shine on me again, sing it out now!

[Chorus x2]
