SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND ( part 1 ) NO INTRO
                            PINK FLOYD

       [CHORDS USED]
       Gm
       F#
       A#
       D#
       Dm
       Cm
       F
       F#aug
       C
       Edim
       D7

In my opinion these are the correct chord passages to this classic tune.
I play F#aug with 1st finger barring 7th fr. into A# at 6th fret then the
C with E as its root(A string 7th fr)and the 1st finger barred at 5th fr.
This seems to work really nicely, see what you think anyway.

[Verse 1]
Gm F# A#
Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun,
D# Dm Cm A# F
Shine on you craaaaaazy diamond,
Gm F# A#
Now theres a look in your eye, like black holes in the sky,
Gm Dm Cm A# F
Shine on you craaaaaazy diamond,
         Gm F#aug
You were caught in the crossfire, of childhood and stardom,
A# C D# Edim
Blown on the steeeel breeze, come on you target, for far away laughter,
A# Dm D7 Gm
Come on you stranger you legend you martyr and shine !

You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon,
D# Dm Cm A# F
Shine on you craaaaaazy diamond,
Gm F# A#

A# C D# Edim
Blown on the steeeel breeze, come on you raver, you seer of visions,

According to one sheet music transcription of this I've seen, the chord on "Blown/rode on the steel..." is not Bb but a Gm7 with the fingering 3x333x (which is quite similar to an A-shaped Bb). Also, for the chord on "breeze" straight after that, it suggests not a basic C chord but the chord xx2320 (which it calls "C7/9-flat").

However, admittedly that wasn't a guitar tab book but just a piano transcription with guitar chord boxes added above, so that could be wrong. (The book agrees with you for the rest of the chords in that section: |Eb| |Edim| |Bb| |Dm |D7 | - it says the Edim is played as 0x2323.)

'just a piano transcription'? as if that's wrong?
