Em
The West's asleep. Let England shake,
Em
weighted down with silent dead.
Am Gm D
I fear our blood won't rise again
Em
rise again

Em
England's dancing days are done.
Em
Another day, Bobby, for you to come home
Am Gm D
Come and tell me indifference
Em
Won won won

Gm D D A
Smile, smile Bobby, with your lovely mouth.
Gm D D A
Pack up your troubles, let's head out
Gm D D A
to the fountain of death & splash about,
Gm
swim back forth & laugh out loud,

Em

Em
until the day is ending,
Em
And the birds are silent
Am Gm D
And the insects are courting
D
by the shores heavy stones are
Em
falling.

Gm D D A
Smile, smile Bobby, with your lovely mouth.
Gm D D A
Pack up your troubles, let's head out
Gm D D A
to the fountain of death & splash about,
Gm
swim back forth & laugh out loud,

Em

Very good version, it has saved me time so thanks a lot! But why not playing D Gm Am instead of Am Gm D on the 3rd verse? It sounds more correct to my ear
