Placebo - Pierrot The Clown

[Intro Verse]

A
Leave me dreaming on the bed,
                          F#m E
See you right back here tomorrow, for the next round
A
Keep that scene inside your head
                         F#m
As the bruises turn to yellow
                  E
Swelling goes down

[Chorus]
                       D
And if you're ever around
                       F#m E
In the city or the suburbs of this town
                     D
Be sure to come around
                       F#m
I'll be wallowing in sorrow
              E D
Wearing a frown, like pierrot the clown...

[Verse 2]
A
Saw you crashing around the bay
                       F#m
Never seen you act so shallow
                   E
Or look so... brown
A
Remember all the things you'd say
                        F#m
How your promises went hollow
                         E
As you threw me to the ground

[Chorus]
                          D
And if you're ever around
                             F#m E
In the backstreets or the alleys of this town
                       D
Be sure to come around
                       F#m
Ill be wallowing in pity
              E D
Wearing a frown, like pierrot the clown...

[Bridge]
A
When I dream
F#m E
I dream of your lips
A
When I dream
F#m E
I dream of your kiss
A
When I dream
F#m E
I dream Of your fists
        D
Your fists... your fists...

[Outro Verse]
A
Leave me dreaming on the bed,
                          F#m E
See you right back here tomorrow, for the next round
A
Keep that scene inside your head
                         F#m
As the bruises turn to yellow
                  E
Swelling goes down

[Chorus]
                       D
And if you're ever around
                       F#m E
In the city or the suburbs of this town
                     D
Be sure to come around
                       F#m
I'll be wallowing in sorrow
              E D
Wearing a frown, like pierrot the clown...

[Outro]
E D
Like pierrot the clown...
Like pierrot the clown...
Like pierrot the clown...
Like pierrot the clown...

You should add that it's one semi-tone down.

It's actually not a semi-tone down, although that was my first guess. This ones tricky, it's actually tuned exactly a quarter-tone down. Some cheaper tuners won't be able to help you do this very well. What you'll need to do is watch the needle on your tuner (if it has one) untill it's half way between 2 notes (halfway between Eb and E for example). If you know how and have the right kind of tuner (like a KORG Chromatic Tuner) you can change the caliber from the usual 440Hz down to about 427Hz and then tune normally. Once you're tuned down, this tab is pretty accurate. Well done.
