B
I put down the phone

And feel more alone
                     Abm
Than I did before it rang
             F# E
And you were there. (Yeah Yeah)
B
I go back to bed

And those things you said
                     Abm
Run around inside my head
            F# E
And I can't sleep. (Oh No)

Chorus:
B
Don't say goodbye to the Goodbye Girl
E
Just say see you soon
B
I say goodbye to the Goodbye Girl
E
And it's our nineteenth honeymoon.

B
So I'm late for work

And you're such a jerk

But I can't stay mad
      Abm F# E
Cause you're so far away. (Hey Hey)

B
So I'm home again

I'm alone again

But I only feel
Abm F# E
Remotely in control. (Whoa Whoa)
E B
I don't even know her name
           E
Don't know when I'll get a
F# E
Chance to talk to her again

Chorus:
B
Don't say goodbye to the Goodbye Girl
E
Just say see you soon
B
I say goodbye to the Goodbye Girl
             E
And it's our nineteenth honeymoon.
B
Pay telephone from a twilight zone
        E
And I'm hanging on the line
B
I fell in love with the Goodbye Girl
         E
Now I'll never say goodbye.
     B
(hey hey)

First tab, couldn't find it anywhere on the web so I made one. I think it's pretty
close, it's a pretty basic song. Sounds decent when I play it on my acoustic. Just thought
I'd post it as I've gotten so much from this site especially. Thanks peeps, enjoy :)
