D E C#m F#m D Dm A

[Verse 1]
D E F#m A
Hey, I was doing just fine before I met you
             D E F#m A
I drink too much and that's an issue but it's okay (it's ok)
D E F#m A
Hey, you tell your friends it was nice to meet them

But I hope I never see them again

[Pre-Chorus]
D E
I know it breaks your heart
A F#m
Moved to the city in a broke down car
D E
And four years, no calls
A F#m
Now you're looking pretty in a hotel bar
    D E F#m A
And I can't stop
    D E F#m A
No, I can't stop

[Chorus]
    D E A F#m
So baby pull me closer in the backseat of your Rover
         D E
That I know you can't afford
           A F#m
Bite that tattoo on your shoulder
           D E
Pull the sheets right off the corner
       C#m F#m
Of the mattress that you stole

Stay and play that Blink-182 song
         D E F#m A
That we beat to death in Tuscon, okay

I'd recommend playing C# (major third) at the mattress that you stole. Standard PMJ stuff. In Pre-Chorus I'd replace A with C#m in the first two lines. I can't seem to find out what the bass is playing there but it's a touch moodier. In Chorus, I'd replace the first A with C#m, not the second though. I have no idea whether they actually play it like that, it just sounds better for me.Last chord before the swing part begins ("ohhhh" in Chorus), they create a really dope minor-major mish-mash for a second. Chen sings the minor 5th and resolves in a major 5th, plus I think there's some instrumental stuff going on as well. Can be done by playing E with a g on 6th, then g# on 6th, or just Em and then E, but it doesn't have the half-second dissonance. Totally unimportant but I wish I could play the full harmony there.Last background "pull the sheets right off the corner" is a D Dm like before. Typo, I guess.Final chord is Amaj7 because fuck classical, this is Jazz.I like the sheet. Well-formatted, proper chords, it's easily readable even if I didn't know the song already. Some chords are not exactly where they should be, such as the E in "we ain't ever gettin older". But that's a proper sheet the way I like them.

Okay, fucking tits. Editing a typo removed the entire formatting and I cannot edit now for some reason. In short:

• C# at mattress
• C#m instead of A in Pre-Ch and first line of Chorus (just taste)
• D Dm at end background line
• Final chord Amaj7
• Good sheet.
