QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE - ANDERSON ANDERSON

Here's a rare as fuck song of which no studio recording exists, only a live version that
was played at a very early show in February 1998 which you can listen to here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqGA1o-2DHU

As apposed to the C tuning that Queens are famous for, this song is actually in C#
tuning (C#-F#-B-E-G#-C#), which is what I'm going to tab it in. It can easily be played
in C
though, just read everything you see here as one note up. If you're going to jam around
this and maybe improv the solo or something, I recommend tuning correctly or sticking a
capo onto your C-tuned guitar, which is what I do.

In C# tuning (C#-F#-B-E-G#-C#).

INTRO
e|-----------|
B|-----------|
G|-9--5--4---|
D|-9--5--4---|
A|-7--3--2---|
E|-----------|

There's probably some muted stokes in between those notes.

MAIN RIFF
e|------------------------------|
B|------------------------------|
G|--9-9-9---7-7-----------9-9---|
D|--9-9-9---7-7---7-7-7---9-9---|
A|--7-7-7---5-5---7-7-7---7-7---|
E|----------------5-5-5---------|

MAIN RIFF LEAD

e|-----------------------------------|
B|--8-8-8-10-10-7----10-10-10-8-8----|
G|-----------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------7--|
E|-----------------------------------|

CHORUS

e|---------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------|
G|--9-9-9---------7-7-7------------|
D|--9-9-9--8-8-8--7-7-7--7--7-7----|
A|--7-7-7--8-8-8--5-5-5--7--7-7----|
E|---------6-6-6---------5--5-5----|

CHORUS LEAD

Stick on some wah here.

(this could be slightly wrong, but it's the best I could do given the quality of the recording)

e|--------------6-------6-------|
B|------8-----6---6---6---------|
G|--7-9---9-7-------6------3----|
D|------------------------------|
A|------------------------------|
E|------------------------------|

TRANSITION
Same as INTRO

SOLO

Sorry, but I can only catch the end of it.

e|--13-13-11-11-10--10-9--9-9h10p9-----|
B|-------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|

e|--13-13-11-11-10--10-18--------------|
B|-------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|

e|--13-13-11-11-10--10-18--------------|
B|-------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|

The rest is just the MAIN RIFF and the outro is just the INTRO/TRANSITION again.

Sorry I couldn't get all of it, but I hope this helps.

Just realised I've made an error with the solo, I tabbed it as if it were in C tuning. This is how it is when it's in C#.

...and again with the chorus lead. The last note is actually a 2, so it's this

e|--------------6-------6-------|
B|------8-----6---6---6---------|
G|--7-9---9-7-------6------2----|
D|------------------------------|
A|------------------------------|
E|------------------------------|

I'm really sorry guys, I should have looked over this more carefully.
