Isnt the 1st note of the riff a hammer on to 12? Cos it sounds off key and wrong if not

gallagher, it may sound off key but the riff itself is wrong anyway, but it's not off key because if you hammer onto 12 it's one octave from the 0. as in fret 0 and 12 are the same notes.
