[Chorus 1]

    A Fmaj7 Dsus2 A/C#
And in your life ----- there comes a darkness
          Fmaj7 G6 Dsus2 A/C#
There’s a spacecraft, blocking out the sky
    Fmaj7 Dsus2 A/C#
And there's nowhere ----- to hide
    Fmaj7 G6 Dsus2 A/C#
You run to the back, and you cover your ears
             Fmaj7 Dsus2 A/C#
But it's the loudest sound ----- you've ever heard
Fmaj7 G6 Dsus2 A/C#
Are we trapped, rag doll cloth people
       Fmaj7 Dsus2 A/C#
We are helpless ----- to resist

The grass grows over me
                 E C/G

If you're keeping the capo on 5, it's fun at the end to just hit the E string open (so you're playing A) and then noodle on your low E string some more.To my ear, it sounds like Jonny's playing with an A - D - CA - D - CSo with the capo, you can rock:(0) 5 3 (0) 5 3
Then it's like A - D - C ... D C DC D .... E !!!! (0) 5 3 5 3 53 5 7
Something like that...you can have fun. It sounds really great, and it's super easy. You can up the drama with a delay pedal.... Check out on You Tube how Jonny's timing it.
