She went away for the holidays

She never got there, they say

I don't know where my baby can be...

[Verse]

C# D#
Ring me, ring me, ring me up the president
And find out Where my baby went

A# D#
And find out if my baby's alive, yeah, yeah, yeah

G#

C# D#
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

G#

She went away ...

She went away ...

The KKK took my baby away...

The KKK took my baby away...

The KKK took my baby away...

The KKK took my baby away
They took my girl, they took my baby away

[Ending]

No, it shouldn't, as Ramones traditionally always play powerchords, which are neither minor nor major scale (or both, depends on the way you look at it).

and if you were playing the full chords A# would be a minor not F. Then C would be the minor when you do the key change.
