[Intro] G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G (x2)

[Verse 1]
   G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G
I set out on a narrow way many years ago
G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
    Em D4
But I got lost a time or two
    C G
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
  G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

[Chorus]
       C G D4 G
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
            C G C D4
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
             C G D4 Em
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
            C D4
This much I know is true........
     G Cadd9 D4 Em
That God blessed the broken road
      C D4 G
That led me straight to you

G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G (x2)

[Verse 2]
   G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G
I think about the years I spent just passing through
     G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G
I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you
    Em D4
But you just smile and take my hand
 C G
You've been there you understand
 G Cadd9 D4 Em C D4 G
It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true

[Chorus]
       C G D4 G
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
            C G C D4
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
             C G D4 Em
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
            C D4
This much I know is true........
     G Cadd9 D4 Em
That God blessed the broken road
      C D4 G
That led me straight to you

[Chorus 2]
                  C G D4 G
And now I'm just rolling home into my lover's arms
             C D4
This much I know is true........
