Intro
(use the unbarred version for chords F#m and B)

A9 E (alternate every line)
I hope the days come easy and moments pass slow,

And each road leads you where you wanna go,

And if you're faced with a choice and you have to chose,

I hope you chose the one that means the most to you,

And if one door opens to another door closed,

I hope you keep on walkin till you find the window,

        C#m B
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,
     C#m B
But more than anything, more than anything

    E A9
My wish for you,
F#m B
Is that this life becomes, all that you want it to,
       E A9
Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
     F#m B
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
                C#m B
And while you're out there gettin where you're gettin to,
            A9 B
I hope you know somebody loves you,
              C#m A9
And wants the same things too,
    B E
Yea this, is my wish,

same chords for verse 2

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,

all the ones who love you, in the place you left,

I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,

and you help somebody every chance you get,

Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,

and you always give more then you take.

But more than anything, more than anything

repeat chorus

Where are the rest of the chords??? You start off with an A9, which does not sound anywhere close to correct and then jump right into an E. After that, we have no more chord changes until you get to line 7 and have us play the C#m. There's a whole bunch of missed chords between lines 1 and 7. Also, a little help here - try calling playing an Asus2 instead of that A9 - A9 and Asus2 are two totally different chords. The A9 has a b7 and a 9 in it, while the Asus2 takes the 3rd interval and drops it by a half step, giving it an unresolved sound. That's a huge difference in sound. Not trying to be critical here, just trying to help you learn. Good luck!

Just reread what I wrote and realized I wasn't very clear. The Asus2 takes the 3rd interval and drops it by a full step. Dropping it by a half would give us the minor quality (Am) - dropping it another half step gives us an Asus2. There's no 7 and no major/minor in that chord, hence the reason we call it suspended, or sus.
